Day 16 - Lucinda Williamsby WalesPComment: Nice range of tones here, and good job keeping detail in the background with such a wide dynamic range in the scene. |

Day-Sixteen.jpgby RoosterComment: Good detail on the frog, and the big hand works well to give a sense of scale. |

Trees (spring)by bladComment: I don't like the blue.
I do very much like the gaussian blur - this is exactly the type of shot it was made for. The shadows bleed, the whole image glows. Really a great effect when used wisely and this was a great image to use it on. |

Day 16 - Old and Neglectedby JLCComment: I like the scene as well. Lots of stuff going on to let your eye wander over. Needs a bit more contrast, like setting the black point in the shadow under the bench. |

Day 15 - Old Bikeby JLCComment: Interesting dance of lines in the shot. Bit flat overall, in large part because of the lighting, but you could kick up the contrast a tad too to get the bike to pop out of the fence some. |

Stack wall texture 2by QuigleyComment: Again, an interesting study. I think the shallow dof is ok here - just ok - butI find it to be so mindlessly used (abused), at least on DPC, that I've grown jaded and very tiredof the effect to be honest. |

Stack wall textureby QuigleyComment: Man, I am damn glad to see you have put away the sewing machine because this is a really good study. Good eye for the shapes and textures, and the way you lined up that veritcal line was a good choice. Some might say 'where's the white point', but I think the range of tones is very nice here. |

Day 16: Friendsby glad2badadComment: Kid and dog - how can you not end up with some gold? This is a nice shot. Like how the light was falling on the kid's face and not blowing out the dog's fur. |
