Smoker in the Rainby alexjackComment: I like it. Quite a bit actually. Wish the roof line was perfectly horizontal, but it's a small quibble on an otherwise fine shot. Will be interesting to see how this places. Hopefully far better than I expect it will. |

A Brief Moment of Silenceby jjbeguinComment: Very nice. Unusual and interesting subject. Can't tell what it is on the left that is obstructing the view (coat over a chair maybe?) but it isn't distinct enough on its own to be interesting and is placed in a way that it sort of throws off the balance of the shot. Otherwise, really nice work. |

Love of a Familyby JenniferDavidGAComment: Normally I find these shots nauseatingly cheesy, but this is so well done it's impossible not to like it. Beautiful tones throughout the image and a great composition of the hands (dad's subtle use of the pinky to keep the baby's arm still is just classic). Kudos, very well done. |

Hummerby donenrightComment: Close to the top as far as the forty three hummingbird shots in the challenge go. |

Happinessby inutzaComment: Took me a minute to see the girl. I like pretty much everything about this other than the fact that she blends in with the wall. Little touch of dodge to bring her out? Or maybe this was your intent (though the title does not lead me to believe so). Anyway, nice shot. Like the details in the building and the overall processing. |

S M O K Eby pawdrixComment: Really nice capture. The sepia tone isn't really working for me, but then it's also subtle enough to avoid ruining my otherwise high opinion of the photo. Good stuff. |

Art Schoolby posthumousComment: This type of photo resonates well with me. Unfortunately this crop really holds the shot back. The big blob of black doesn't add to the image, and really pulls the eye away from the subject. The subject and the detail behind it make this image, I would love to see the crop display them more prominently. |
