Stairway to the skyby ScapeshotsComment: First thing I notice about this shot is the tilt. When all you've got to show the class is two shades of horizontal lines, 'horizontal' is a very important thing in my mind. Other than that, meets the challenge but doesn't offer much beyond that I'm afraid. |

All Gone...by TiberiusComment: Not bad, not bad. Might work better with the first chair closer to the left edge of the frame, and what would be the harm in a smaller aperture giving my eyes the full line of chairs to feast upon in great detail? Like the tones here for some reason. Not usually a big fan of sepia but this is very appealing. |

Eye see Treesby BlackboxComment: Don't care for the processing. Meets the challenge on a number of levels, but I just can't get past the effect. |

shadow peopleby jdannelsComment: I like the idea, like the processing. Don't think you made the most of this though as the composition could use some work. Then again who has all day to sit around waiting for a crowd to fall into a pleasing formation by chance? Still, were the main pair a bit lower and to the left it might add a bit of balance, reduce the chaos, and anchor the shot. |

Jesuit Rhythmby beamsclanComment: Nice scene with a lot of different rhythms contained within it. Might have cropped it so the wall vanishes at the left side of the frame rather than that little stub of the other wall showing, but that's just my opinion. |

Turtle Formationby courtneeComment: Not the best composition and the lighting is pretty harsh. Does meet the challenge as far as I'm concerned, but there's a lot holding this shot back. The way the two on the right re looking up almost begs to have this cropped with the log at the bottom of the frame. |

abstract macroby alpharichComment: Doesn't really strike me as an abstract. It's clearly a mushroom cap. Very odd choice of aperture here. |

Balloons in the Sky Like Notes on a Scaleby Buckeye_FanComment: A thing you can do to avoid the ugly jaggies on thin diagonal lines (a phenomen that is particularly likely to occur when sizing images to the ridiculous limit imposed on us) is to go back with the history brush and remove the sharpening effect from them.
Nice shot. Balloons always look nice. Not sure if you had many options, but the Remax logo sort of spoils the effect for me. Adds a very commercial feel to the scene. |

Can you spot the frog on the lily padsby ladpupmoeComment: Shot meets the challenge. The lily pads give a nice sense of rhythm to the scene. Technically the shot needs some work. The flower is overexposed and almost completely without detail. Also it might be more pleasing were the subject (the flower) on a thirds intersection. In the lower left it would nicely anchor the shot. |

Rhythm Of The Canyonby Wenders11Comment: I like the patterns created by the tree lines on the right and the dark shadows on the left slope. Not sure I would say they define the shot or add a real sense of rhythm, but overall it's a nice scene. |
