All Sweetness and Lightby RKTComment: I stand by my first comment on this page during the challenge. 12th is great, but it should have been much higher. Take comfort in knowing this shot has fans. Great job. :) |

A little less comfortable... by TygerrComment: Yes, that looks uncomfortable, yet sexy as hell. I like the simplicity of the background that focuses your attention on the model (not that it's hard to do with a pretty girl such as her). I also like the overall muted tones of the scene with the earth tones of the wall, tile and molding as well as her garments. Nice job. 8 |

All Sweetness and Lightby RKTComment: There is something about this that I like very much. The light color and texture of the wall, the depth of field and focus that puts most of your attention on the bra, and the almost mystical glow (like afterglow) of light that highlights the under garment and also leads you to the bed. A bit sultry, A bit romantic, and a bit mystical all at the same time. Nice control over the highlights as well. I also like the window light sets off the fragile detail of the bra. Well done. 9 |

Linen and Lingerieby lucky_85Comment: The lighting in the upper left is too harsh, and the lower left is too dark with no detail on her hair. Not going to get good results in this photo using matrix or evaluative metering. Perhaps partial or center weighted metering would have been more effective if your camera supports it. Seems like you also used an ISO that was too high in order to get a faster shutter speed or it's long exposure. In either case it created a very grainy and noisy texture to everything in the photo including her skin and the linens.
Nice attempt, but I'm afraid the best I can give you is a 4. |

All Laced Upby ekmaiComment: A little blown out on her right thigh and hand, but I do like the overall B&W tones and exposure. Not sure if it's a reflection of a light, flash or something else going on with her right thumb nail, but it's distracting to me.
Overall a strong image, but maybe the use of soft light or flash compensation to reduce the highlights a little more would have helped here. 7 |

On the ceiling fan is where they normally end upby LadComment: Cute idea, but you didn't quite pull it off. Not liking the DOF between the hanging garments and it seems kind of thrown together in a couple of minutes just to get something submitted. Sorry, not trying to offend here.
For what it's worth, I think you should have gone with the same concept, but taken a shot of the room with the ceiling fan in one of the rule of third intersecting points preferably with a bed beneath it in the background (un-made and russled up of course) with just one garment such as the bra hanging down. I would have also considered making it a B&W or dark sepia tone to pull it all together. Good luck! |

Spring Colorsby CJinCAComment: Great color and clarity. I think it would have been even more effective if the horizontal lines of the rack were leveled a bit more. To me they seem higher on the left. I do like the photo though. 7 |
