the photo is clear and good lighting, but had it not been for the title i would not of thought the subject was the small island in center. I think the foreground is a bit overpowering and takes the attention from the rest of the photo

very good use of thirds and dof, not really sure if i prefer the sepia version over the full color or not. it does grow on me though especially with the detail of the footstep and waves that seems to jump out.

Silhouette

This is a great shot, I do like the colors on the pic you ended up going with but this one was very good as well. I like the central composition side to side and the silhouette of the peninsula adds to the rule of thirds top to bottom. colors are also nice and soothing to look at and the sun draws my eye to the lighthouse itself.

I like the panning effect here, wish the black mini in front was as clear as the other two. I find the long shadow a bit distracting, maybe either later in the day or earlier would shorten it but dont know how it might effect the rest of the shot

I like the lighting on this and the depth of field, i think the actual door is a bit distracting, maybe if you could open it up just a bit more so as not to catch the side of it. 6

Very nice capture. I think the colors are awesome as well as the vantage point. I think this would of been perfect for the cowboy challenge. Course I dont know many cowboys with swords, but still. Keep up the good work
