Paper Clip Artby JackoComment: As a photo buyer, I wouldn't want to see the text you've added. I know where I want to put text; you don't have to tell me. The border doesn't add anything and if I were laying out a magazine or annual report or textbook, I'd probably crop those out anyway. You've got a good concept here for a stock photo and the paper clips are quite sharp and well lit. |

Pipe Dreamsby greenem2Comment: The teeth marks on the stem of this pipe detract from it. I would try reversing the focus so the bowl is in clear focus and the stem is out of focus. Might not work, but worth a try. Colors are nice and the white background is handled well. |

Fly Fishing - Yellow Elk Hair Caddisby justineComment: A very sharp photo and this would be very good in some magazines. I can't tell what the background is --- that's probably good --- but I like the way the yellow dots lead your eye into the subject of the photo. |

Stock Kittyby jerrftComment: Impecable focus! I would have liked a catchlight in the eye on the right as there is in the eye on the left. |

Emerald Cityby joannsComment: Nice skyline. Clouds in the sky would add depth to this photo. You might also try shooting a similar shot at twilight or even at night. Skylines of major cities can be a major part of a stock photographer's money-making portfolio so you've chosen a good subject. I'm not too keen on the "steel cage" at the left side of the photo. It breaks the view of the city and distracts the eye. I would try a slightly different viewpoint. The color of the light on the buildings is very nice. |

Think Globallyby alanfreedComment: I would think that this would sell over and over again for illustrations ... textbooks, annual reports (probably better in color for that purpose), possibly magazine articles. Don't see this as a magazine cover image though because it isn't vertical and there isn't enough room to make it vertical while leaving room for a magazine masthead ... but that could be another photo in your stock library. |

One Room Schoolhouseby TarbiniComment: Nice framing with the tree. Your exposure is well balanced and, given the title, it seems to illustrate the one room schoolhouse. B&W does well on this image. |

The Dock Houseby GotchaComment: Good composition with the reflection. I wonder what the phot would look like when the water was perfectly still. Might be a nice image, too. You've gotten a good exposure and the focus seems very sharp. The image has a quality which makes it seem as if it's a painting and that may keep it from selling well in the stock field. |
