Antigravityby ImagineerComment: Wow! I hope you tell us how you (or rather, the jumper) did this.
Wonderful composition - the long vertical underneath really emphasizes the height. And B&W works fine here, with the clothes contrasting well with the sky. |

$21,000.00 laterby jmritzComment: And how! This is the story of my life ... er ... mouth. Clever idea.
As for the picture, it's pretty flat. The lighting is harsh and very bright, leaving no shadows long enough to give the objects any depth.
Still the focus is good. All of it adds up to a 5 from me. |

Up Do!by scarbrdComment: Makes me laugh! Nice timing, her dress is a great color, her expression is priceless, and you nailed the hair in the title. :) |

In a moment of Indecisionby dahkotaComment: This was one of only two 9s (I gave one 10). I thought it was fantastic!
And the red hair only accentuates the B&W aspect; I didn't agree with people who thought B&W should be the only two colors visible.
The funny thing is I wondered, like posthumous, whether this was Judi's entry. |

Irish Rhythm by ColeyComment: Congrats on your new ribbon!
The sharp bodies and blurred feet do a wonderful job of conveying energy and motion. And the diagonal line of their heads and the varied colors are really visually interesting. |

Dualityby LeeDComment: I think this is an amazing shot, from your creative thinking to how you executed it.
I do agree with the other commenters about the asymmetry in the hands. I think the best would be to paint the right hand black. It would add some visual interest. But that's minor.
Great job! Going in my favorites. |

Target Practiceby ShutterPugComment: Just stumbled into this. As someone who's has both cats and dogs, I think the raw humor of it is pretty good. That said, guns are bad, so that muted the reaction for me. Maybe a less topical weapon, like a bow and arrow, or a catapult.
It would've been even funnier if you'd figured out a way to have one of your dogs appearing to own the gun.
Yeah, that's it! Show a dog with one paw about to release a catapult, with a cat in it! 'Cause that's subtler.
LOL. |
