Between a Rock and a Hard Placeby GeeeComment: Beautiful color and wonderful, crisp focus. It would be interesting to soften the background in Photoshop and see what that does for the image. The detail in the rock fights with the sharp curves of the leaves. |

Burning skyby pmottaComment: Amazing picture. How much of the motion in the cloud is original and how much of it is PP? |

Repairing my farmhouseby pmottaComment: I love this photo! I agree with krgl about the frame, I think printed the white frame would be great, but something about the gray of the DPC background with the white frame and red image is awkward. |

Young climberby pmottaComment: I really like the picture, but I think it may need greater range in the tree and boy. They're pushing being silhouettes and, from what I've seen, people on the site really like more range. I like it, but the silhouetting that may be part of why it scored low. |

Gravityby krglComment: Hmmm... I was starting to think you somehow got a picture of me! The soft, warm quality of the light is great. |

My Private Aurora ( Refracting light off a beer bottle )by krglComment: I think merging two exposures could have helped here to bring higher quality to the bottle. The highlight on the bottom and the distortion on the bottle detract from the wonderful quality of the shot. I love the effect of the lighting, is the light under the bottle? |

Good Companyby krglComment: Great composition, I just wish you could have spot-edited to adjust the lighting on the statues. Damn the basic editing! The frame may be a little much though. |

Out of Placeby luddeComment: Did you try framing so the apple is slightly lower and larger? I love the shot, but the compositions seems a little uneasy |
