Spiny Orb Weaverby robinssongComment: Fantastic rich colors and capture. This little guy looks like he is floating in air. Hope it is doing better than mine photo. |

Through the Ages.by phase3Comment: Well, I don't think this deserved to be in the fours. It is a great subject and with a different perspective it would have done better. I kinda of liked what processing you did. |

Come a Little Closerby robinssongComment: I just love his expression. I know it is a zoo shot but that doesn't matter because you got him awake and looking at you. It beats seeing them sleeping with their butt towards you. |

Through the Ages.by phase3Comment: I just love old buildings. They make such great subjects, especially in B/W. You might want to try that some time. Your processing gives the photo a somber look which does work with old buildings. |

Rebirthby robinssongComment: This is so different for you. I like it. Very artsy and very underrated. But hey, at least it stayed in the mid-high fives and not the dreaded fours. I love the background because it gives an illusion of moving or large brush strokes of a painting which causes the flower to stand out more. Keep on trying different things. |

Life outdoors.by phase3Comment: Glad to see this one didn't get below 5 because it really is a great shot. I am always taking their pictures but I have not got one showing off the design in their backs. Wonderful capture. Great bokeh you have going on in the back and you even caught some catchlights in his eye, which gives him life. Try some black and white processing on this guy to see what you get. |

My Luck Just Ran Outby phase3Comment: Congratulations on your top 20 finish. The blur of the bird's head indicatates he is going to town on that unlucky fish. Nice crisp focus on the fish. I love the birds they have so much detail in them. Great capture. |
