Birds of a Feather Flock Together (like DPC members)by TerryGeeComment: I love the detail on this. The starkness translates (to me) a feeling of a very chilly day. The few streaks in the background, probably junk in the water you couldnt blow out, hrm, they threaten to distract but not sure if they do or not. It seems like you're down on their level too, which is great. Love the tone and sharpness too. Very well done. |

Couch Potatoby TrinchComment: This is very clever, I like it! It's hilarious and thought provoking at the same time. Hrm, it's a tad dark maybe, but that's about the only negative thing I can say about it. The location you've put it in is great (even managed to get a cat in the shot too!), the symmetry is good, the colors are good, I like how the back of the 'couch' mimics the shape of the arch in the back. Well crafted, thought, and executed. |

Blood is Thicker Then Waterby Firstrich1Comment: Interesting idea and I like the fact the 'blood' is at the bottom of the glass. What appears to me as ruffles near the hand also adds a nice period mood to the image, something straight out of interview with the vampire or similar. Hrm, the thing that is distracting that I realise you had no control over without editing is the reflections on the glass. I've found that glass is an amazingly annoying thing to shoot. I think the shadow of the arm detracts from the glass, and other than playing around with the lighting, which probably would have caused more glass reflections, I'm not sure what else you could have done. Also the background is a little odd. I cant tell if you oversaturated it with an editing program or what, it certainly looks like what happens when you do that. For a dark mood the white seem out of place and a bit glaring. It that was the result of your light source then you probably needed to rearrange your lighting. Technically it has some flaws, but I do like the mood that comes across with the image. |

Give Him Enough Rope And He'll Hang Himselfby BeagleboyComment: I like how the color suits the mood of the image. Using the noose as a frame is also good. Shame about the line near the top, which I assume is the start of the ceiling. His right shoulder (on our left) blends into the background a little, and that whole left area seems a little dark compared to the brigher blue on the other side. A creative idea that is well executed. Well done. |

(Not) Move a Muscleby dinnComment: The title is confusing me a little but I assume you mean something similar to 'dont move a muscle' which I understand. The lighting is good, the focus is good, certainly captured the stop motion and it links well to the title. It's a well shot candid. Street photography is always a nice thing to see. |

Can of worms by kiwinessComment: Ewwww! Yuck! Is that a spam tin? Makes it even more funny! Hrm, what to say about this. I like it despite it being rather gross. The white is white, it's very clean and very sharp. No distracting shadows, lighting is excellent (except maybe the very tip of the tin but bah, that's nothing). Very well thought of and executed. |

Cash On the Barrel Head - - money paid in cash when something is boughtby NeuferlandComment: There seems to be some noise on the barrel, possibly due to the low lighting. I like the shadowed edge on the right, but the left could have done with being cropped a little more or something as there is something over there that's a little distracting. I havent heard of the expression but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, I'm sure it's a saying somewhere. The money doesnt seem very sharp on the top of the barrel either, again, possibly due to the lighting situation. |

Light as a featherby Bela45Comment: First thing I thought when I saw this was a feather decorated bathroom scales, kinda like those furry photo frames. Eeeek, I cringed! Now I see they are just being weighed. Interesting idea, colorful image, very fluffy. Dont really see much to improve on. |

A Shadow of Doubtby jaimeegrlComment: There is a littlle noise on the blue but nothing too horrid. I like the fact the lettering gets larger near the end, although the tops of the lettering blurs a little. Creative idea. |
