Country Boyby dacrazyrnComment: Yikes, it looks like he is going to poke his eye out with that! I love the warm tones, perfect time of day to take the shot, coupled with the warm colors of the wheat just really makes this glow golden. |

Tylerby PedroComment: Good lighting, although a touch of a shadow near this thumb. Good composition that suggests a humorous personality, and nice tonning. A good portrait shot. |

A Manby ellamayComment: Great lighting, very sharp, great detail in everything. A face certainly full of character and personality. Unusual choice to have him dead center in a landscape orientation, but his eyes draw me straight to him that I dont even notice the negative space either side of him. |

Brandonby nsoroma79Comment: I like the lighting, although it could be just a tad too bright on the left side of the face. Gives it a nice broody feel to it. The choice of black and white adds to the broody feel as well, and I like the slight color in the eyes, which is muted enough to not look cheesy and does draw me toward them. The mixture of softness and yet remaining sharp is good too. Nicely captured. |

The Eyes of Blindnessby Everyday ReneeComment: Hrm, it looks like you have 'painted' some of the background but have missed several areas. It also makes the hair on the top of the dog to be quite flat and not the usual wispy. Painting around hair can be VERY difficult, I know, I've tried it many times. The lighting on the dog is good and even, good color in the fur, and nice texture too. The title suggests the dog may be blind so that makes it more difficult, but the eyes are often an essential part of a portrait to show emotion and 'contact' with the viewer. |
