Emily's Trophiesby bobdaveantComment: Seems a tad cluttered with no real focal point but certainly conveys a lot of accomplishment. |

Hoop Dreamsby xcharrierComment: I like the use of negative space and the composition is good. The color of the sky is excellent and contrasts nicely with the white backboard. Just a tad oversharpened as you can see the fine white halo around the edges. Nicely captured. |

Polo Matchby sn4psh07Comment: Uh oh, you got a player's foot in! Just kidding. It's a good action shot with the movement on the whatever you call it and the spray of dirt from the ground. Composition is good too. |

Rained Outby DigitmasterComment: Now that's a lot of water! I like the reflections in the water and the mix of colors. Quite abstract. |

If you build it...by jmleliiComment: Good idea and the composition is good but unfortunately the focus looks a little off and the rained dirt looks fairly unappealing. |

Poloby tomlewis1980Comment: Good detail and sharpness, and the color is nicely vibrant too. Without the title to support it then the image would certainly bring interest as the viewer tries to work out what exactly they are seeing. After a while it is obvious, but taking in the various bits of the image and filling in the blanks left by the crop is part of the enjoyment. Nicely captured. |

Spectator after the game: Footy at the MCGby mandypComment: The first thing I notice is that the focus is off - it seems to be on the wires, or even the reflection of her face, and not on her real face. I also wonder the context of the shot - the title suggests it is after the game, but what is she looking at? Did the team win or lose? The colors are good and the reflection is a nice touch, but unfortunately it's been cropped out some. |

Mid Airby marlinComment: The idea is certainly a good one but the image fails for a number of reasons for me. Firstly, the composition isnt all that great with the negative space in the bottom right and the ball cropped on the left. There is also a border of shadow/curb at the top - if the image was staged then the background should be taken into account and moved to a continuous patch of grass. The grass itself is quite dull-looking and some saturation boost in an editing program would have helped some. |

#81 for allby ericsuthComment: The dof and perspective is good although I'd personally be tempted to crop out some of the right to get rid of the white at the bottom right and the vent in to the top right. The focus also seems to be on the lock and not the shoes, which I'm guessing are suppose to be the focal point. |

Sliderby STEINRComment: The smoke and lights are good, but the mascot is a little too small and so the scoreboard seems to be the main focus, which isnt all that interesting. |
