Teenagers at Playby TressiderComment: They look like two mighty mountains clashing together. In an idea world the bush in the foreground wouldnt be there, but when something happens on the spur of the moment you cant exactly control the environment. I like the deep gradient green in the background over the backs of the bison, it compliments the brown of their coat very well. The lighting and textures are good also. Only thing that stands out as being a little unusual are the eyes. The faces are very dark, almost to the point of being in total shadow although I can see some detail, but the eyes are very bright and the whites almost a little too white, if that makes sense. An interesting shot, very clash of the titans. |

your friend till the bitter endby PhileineComment: Good close up and nicely sharp. A difficult subject to expose correctly. Looks like you blew out the details in the highlights a little on the right plume and up along the edge of the head. In comparison the eye is a little dark, and as with human portraits a catchlight in the eye can really make the difference too. You've also isolated him from the background well. |

Into the Abyssby jenesisComment: I like the diagonal of the wood and the position of the lizard on the diagonal helps with the flow of the eye through the image. I like the color combo of the light and the green also. I'm a fan of shallow dof but I feel there is just a little too much OOF in the shot overall. |

Wingsby cloudsmeComment: Interesting shot. You've got the artistic look of exaggerated motion blur and it works well, especially as the eye is nice and sharp with the catchlight. The blues and yellows in the image are also very complimentary colors and helps with the flow of the image. Not everyone's cup of tea, but I like it. |

Shy guyby JinjitComment: Cute guy and he's in a great pose. Composition is good too. Colors are good with a splash of color in the otherwise muted tones. Only nitpick is that it looks a little oversharpened as the white halo around the head really stands out against the blue of the water. |

Mule Deer Buck at Duskby SammieComment: Good coloring, I like the various tones of yellow/brown in the shot. Lighting is nice and even. Texture in the fur is great, it looks very velvety. Composition is good too. Very sharp and clear image. |

REVERIE...Wild and Free Againby charmayneComment: Good color and texture in the fur. The only real issue I have is that if you are going to basically capture the eyes then it would probably be a good idea to actually see them instead of dark slits. |

Retired by BradComment: The tones are good, nice clarity and sharpness, dof is appopriate, composition is fine. I like the weathered and aged feel of the shot as well as the amount of disrepair and general inertia. And yet it tells a story, or it could I'm sure. |

Wooden Horseby lawreeComment: Good lighting and sharpness on the foreground element. What is letting you down here is your background. The creases dont really help and it looks like the type of fabric that reflects light, and the color doesnt really compliment the subject either. A plain solid color would have put the emphasis on the wooden horse and kept down a lot of the distractions. |

Running Tiger Headby longlivenyhcComment: Good color and composition but it's quite soft and mostly out of focus due to the movement. For an interesting movement blur type of artistic shot the blur needs to be more pronounced. |
