Old Mission Pointby DrakeComment: The place must've been awesome. Had you been there at sunrise or sunset and captured the same scene, it would've been magical - especially with those nice popcorn clouds in the sky. Unfortunately, the harsh lighting in this shot works against the picture. If you crop a little bit off the top so that the horizon falls on the 1/3 line, it would look a little better. |

The Falls in the Morningby davidwComment: Multnomah falls! Such an amazing place!
Glad you could separate out the top and bottom falls into two different lines instead of a single line.
Unfortunately, light worked against this pic. The high contrast and glare kill what could've been an awesome pic, and turned it into a snapshot. |

Sense of Designby sekarmalathyComment: Woah! From the thumbnail I thought this was a broken CD or something like that! Never seen a web that's so dense. Beautiful craftsmanship, well captured in the backlight. Hope this gets the blue. |

Sense of Tranquility by MargaretNetComment: Beautiful! I hope this ribbons.
The harsh shadows in the foreground are a little too contrasty to give the sense of tranquility, but everything else in the picture does. Maybe if the picture were cropped from the bottom slightly to remove the shadows, it would look even better? |

A sense of adventureby Yo_SpiffComment: Beautiful! I hope it ribbons.
I wish the warm hues extended all the way instead of the dull color at the very top. Also, the sun shape looks a bit odd instead of a perfect circle? |

Endlessby gg3rdComment: For an image that's in the top 10, I'm surprised it received only 1 comment! Possibly because the voters found it nice and agreeable, but not outstanding? Atleast, I do.
I like the subtle color gradient - from orange at the top to the blue at the bottom - the sky reflection. If it were me, I would make the lines go the other diagonal way - possibly a silly personal preference :-) The dark reflection of another building at the bottom left is mildly distracting since the picture doesn't have a strong subject other than the pattern itself.
Congratulations on the top10 finish. And I agree - the building's indeed a nice subject. |

Energy vortexby tunnelvisionComment: Neat idea executed very well. Would've probably liked a cooler tone better to imply the title, instead of the warm hues here. Nicely done though. Good luck! |

The Fortune Teller by gyabanComment: The crystal ball is a nice touch! Lots of details in this picture that are well thought out and executed. Would've like a teeny bit more light on the head wear to bring out the color some more.
I somehow feel that there's something lacking in the stare. It's intense, no doubt, but focusing neither into the crsytal ball nor into the viewer's soul - feels like the person's staring at my chin?
Still, my top 5 in this challenge. Well done. |
