Nice image and I like the concept and composition. This may have worked better with some lighting coming from a 45 degree angle rather than the nearly 90 degrees it appears to be. This would give at least some detail to the chess piece in the right foreground.

To bad this is a basic editing challenge and you can't clone out the distracting element on the right middle of the image. Other than that minor detail, it's perfect. Excellent color, negative space, and shadows. Very dramatic effects.

This is a great photograph under what looks to be challenging lighting conditions. The only thing I would like better is to be closer to the subjects but still have them off center in the frame. The negative space to the left gives the dancers somewhere to travel and directs the eye to the subjects imediately. Well done.
