Technically, everything in your photo is dead-on. Your focus is sharp, exposure is perfect. But, the photo has no wow factor in a challenge loaded with industrial buildings. A braver composition may have given it the wow. Overall, it was just a hard challenge to please voters in.

Yup, definitely would have worked for me in the Challenge. I couldn't have voted on it, but I like it. I've seen something similar in one of the Pro-Lighting books, albeit a color image.

BTW, thanks for your posts in my thread. I appreciate people that stand up for others.

BTW again, your wife is very beautiful, definitely worthy of artistic impressions.

Nothing better than beer for breakfast . That's what I've always said. :-) I think I would have preferred this shot with a beer can or bottle sitting with the breakfast food, rather than being poured, as this just throws the composition way out of wack.

Was actually going to go with this idea... glad I didn't. Just a nit pick, Curves in Photoshop could have made your BG go completely white. I'm not real fond of any gradients on a white background.
