S T E A K ! !by snafflesComment: Absolutely delicious looking! :) You could try lighten this (try using a screen duplicate layer? say around 60% opacity...) and add more contrast to bring out the colours and give it that extra punch. |

Dream Rosesby BarronessComment: You went through ALL that effort of crumpling some plastic wrap when you could have just gone out and spent a few hundred $$ on a Lensbaby. ;) |

I think there are those who will agree. I will certainly disagree... ;)

Abstract Ballby PaulG13Comment: A few things (I might be wrong on all or none): It doesn't look crisp and sharp at all, which I value in a photo like this. It's also very underexposed (and I'm not sure why?). The obvious reflection is very distracting (you could try using a polarizer to minimize reflections). And then it's not all that interesting - just centered, like you're trying to sell it. Try different focal lengths to compress or distort the subject, and try to use a much smaller aperture to increase your DOF (and possibly maximize sharpness). If you photo'd this in a soft box, the transparency might be much more obvious, bringing out the detail inside the ball. |
