Wonderful capture of the plants texture but lighting and composition are lacking. There is too much clutter and with the exception of the leaves texture, there isn't much else to look at.

Meets the challenge very well, perhaps better than any I've seen so far. I especially like the composition. The various angles formed here by the branch and leaves suggest an esthetic and a science. The backlighting is brilliant and you've really brought out the veins of the leaves so well. The green agaisnt the black background really brings out the color in the leaves. The only improvement I could see is possibly less sharpening, as it appears possibly oversharpened. Very well done, nonetheless.

The cool colors here are exquisite and the landscape is absolutely beautiful. Very painterly. I don't really believe this meets the challenge, but I won't penalize you as this is so gorgeous.

Wonderful tones in this pic! This is a great image and the only thing I can see for improvement would to have the water come out of the can in a sprinkle instead of stream, but then you would have to tilt the can more and mess with the composition. Nonetheless, very well done.

Nice colors and I really like the shallow DOF effect which gives the image a graphic feel. I especially like the extreme blur of the background. I think there could be a bit more light on the flower and bees to bring out some more detail in the bees.
