The best landscape shots IMO are those that make you want to walk into the photo to explore the location yourself. They convey mystery and excitement - as if maybe, just out of sight somewhere, something beautiful and amazing awaits you. This grabbed me immediately as one of those photos. I look at it and I feel an anticipation, a desire to discover what lies behind the trees or down the river. Absolutely beautiful - one of my favorite shots on DPC.
