I like the shadows of the fence on this guy's trousers and jacket. The photo is a little too grainy for me though, but it has charachter.

Cool reflections there and wonderful composition. This photo could do well in the "leading lines" challenge too.

Poot baby! This really shows despair, just look at those eyes! I hope you rewarded him/her for posing so well!

The sky seems a little blown out here especially to the middle right side just above the trees. It looks very rainy there, that sure is despairing! Good luck.

Lol, I can't read what those signs say so I guess I am in despair! The colors are great, the compostion as well. Choice!

Wow that figure really is in despair, nice find there! The cross behind him fits in well. The post processing is a a matter of taste but not really negative at all, maybe a little grainy, especially noticeable on the cross. Good luck.

I find it very despairing seeing animals locked up in a zoo! If only you had gone a little higher to see the despair on that tiger/lion's eyes... The post on the left you could have cropped out a little more as well. But otherwise a good photo, good luck.

This is a great image, I like the way you captured it. The rule of thirds really applies here. If it meets the challenge of "despair" I am not sure, but judging from the look in the girl's eyes I'll agree with you. Good one.

A little too dark on his face. However the crop and compostition is great and I can just see enough of his eyes to see the despair...

I thought I would see more gravestones in this challenge but there really weren't all that many. This is my favourite of them all. You have a great capture here, every gravestone is fully in focus. I love the way that they are all not straigt but tilted in different directions. Good one!
