Dependantby jeroweComment: There's almost no white and no black. How's that high contrast? It's a great picture for sure - just don't see what it's doing here. |

Lizby FocusPointComment: Poor choice of subject, IMO. The quality of this picture is almost entirely dependent on the graduation of mid tones in the skin, making any hgigh contrast black and/or white elements incidental and/or irrelevant. Had you made a high contrast picture of it then she probably would have looked less pretty... |

Locked Handsby bnileshComment: You could have been brave and cranked the contrast, but it's getting there... |

A Round Tuitby pixelpigComment: Heh. Take down the magenta and crank the blacks and you might have had something here. |

The Lion Kingby AlainComment: Lovely picture, magnificent beast. Had this been high contrast then there would be less grey and more black and white. It might even have enhanced the impact. |

Chicken soupby sekarmalathyComment: All you had to do was drag the slider on the Brightness/Contrast thingy and you would have had a high contrast picture here. It probably looks nicer like this, but what can you do? |

Just Some Contrast.by magrelloComment: There's a lot of contrast in there, but I wouldn't call this a high contrast picture. Too many mid tones and non-primary colours. I think it could probably be cranked into a genuine high contrast condition with some legal post processing, but I have to admit it might not look very nice :) |
