San Francisco conventby quindeComment: I bet there's a big wide aperture involved in this. I'm not the world's greatest fan of sharpness for sharpness' sake, but what isn't dark here is fuzzy. The nearest wing is in focus, I note. I think it was a very difficult shot to pull off, so kudos for this much :) |

Going to church one sunny dayby palmfrodurComment: It's a lovely shot, with the saturated bright colours and the striking lines of the cladding on the church. I feel that the boldness of colour detracts from the idea of 'holiness' though - belongs with children's toys rather than timeless veneration. |
