Pretty vintage style lighting, too. The fashion statement is right enough and maybe the photo with the flash etc suits that, but the pose and the model's attitude don't support it enough (it's got a lot of work to do and I believe there's a 64 thousand dollar prize if you ever get it right). Doesn't work for me.

I guess you must be in the Antipodes. I like the lighting here - I've often tried and pretty much never succeeded in getting that magic evening glow . . . With the darkness here though, maybe it looks more Autumn than Spring?

It's a lovely kitchen either way and a nice portrait of it.

The pin cushion distortion is ok to my eye, for most of the picture, but the top cupboards on the left make vertical lines a little too close to the edge so that the distortion reads. I think I would have tried cropping that out. (I have the same lens, it's just great :))
