The Loopby signal2noiseComment: I hate it when pictures are for story telling. I hate it even more when they do it so damned well. Then I have to like the picture that's doing the story telling and I have to hate myself for not having liked it in the first place. Hang on, I'm in a loop.
Seriously good application of the technique here. |

Frontside Crooked Grindby trnqltyComment: Tell him I saw him smiling once, so he better not show his face in public again.
More seriously - this is an exemplary sequence of what looks like some pretty exemplary moves. Just to be nickety pickety I can see one or two places where e.g. jeans have been masked out against trees and the line is too hard - maybe a little blur or smudge would have helped there. Then again, as all the shots have the same background it shouldn't have been necessary to paint the mask right in to the jeans anyway. Maybe it's me hallucinating again. Give me a pint of what I'm drinking. Oh. I've a powerful suspicion of Neat Image pollution too...
having said all that I'll wind my crying neck in as it's a whole lot better than anything I could have done, and in difficult lighting, too. |

On The Road Againby BrianRComment: Hey, who's the guy with the yellow jacket? Good show, over saturated for my eyes, but cracked the challenge and the - er - rules :-) |

Chute de Feuilleby violinist123Comment: Very nice figurative abstract look. Falling petal would have done for me, but still... I'm not clever enough to say how, but I think such a stark minimal image requires a lot of attention to composition and balance of abstract elements. Great concept though, and lovely stuff going on there. |

Go, Daddy! Go!! Go!!! Go!!!!by hahn23Comment: More good than great, but it's all there - composition, (natural?) movement sequence, frozen motion, focus... maybe some over saturated colours and jpeg-y snow make it less than breathtaking, but daddy shall have points. |

quack quack by Rando D300Comment: Lovely picture. You've done a great job of retaining the reflections in the water (or is the back one missing a bit?) so as to prevent them looking pasted in. Bonus quacking sequence too! I rate this highly. |
