This is a beautiful abstract. It's a bit of a love it or hate it shot. The voters who are all about the technicals will possibly just see blur and such and vote lower and the ones who go for emotion will feel it's raw power. I'm a bit of both. I assume most people are. but I really appreciate this. I truely hope you are scoring well. It's wonderful. |

Noodle No. 27by EstimatedEyesComment: *not voting as I'm in this challenge-just commenting since I've seen requests for comments in the challenge thread*
Cool idea. My biggest issue with this is all the blue color that the noodle has taken on from the BG. If they were placed much farther apart that would have helped the blue light to not have bounced back onto the noodle. the yellow of the noodle and the blue of the BG give it an almost greenish hue, and that really doesn't look appealing. great focus ans composition though.

Born to be....Twisted ?by fededecbaComment: *not voting as I'm in this challenge-just commenting since I've seen requests for comments in the challenge thread*
Cool subject, and nice DOF too. I like the splash of color from the leaf. Seems a tad dark overall but great clarity.

Looks a bit snapshotish to me, but awesome clarity for a fishtank photo. They can be very hard to do.I think I'd prefer this much more with the bubbles cropped out. JMO.

Curved Red Wineby JulietNNComment: *not voting as I'm in this challenge-just commenting since I've seen requests for comments in the challenge thread*
awww. I adore this image. for personal reasons really. This looks like the exact set up for my very first film photo that I took and developed myself. I was very young and mine looked no where near as good as this one technically. I had TONS of noise but this shot brings back good memories for me. and on it's own merit it is wonderful as well. Fantastic use of light. You have no harsh highlights. That can be hard to achieve. Wonderfully done. I hope you are doing well in this challenge. |

Curves to the topby heydandyComment: *not voting as I'm in this challenge-just commenting since I've seen requests for comments in the challenge thread*
Very cool street, and wonderful sweeping curve. I'd love to see this at night with light trails from a vehicle going all the way around the curve. Would be awesome I think. As is seems a bit snapshotish. but great color and clarity. |

I, Springby oscarthepigComment: *not voting as I'm in this challenge-just commenting since I've seen requests for comments in the challenge thread*
Cool idea, and the shapes created in the out of focus areas is very compelling. I just wish the "in focus" area was really in nice sharp focus. As it is my eye really has no where to land. |
