This is quite disturbing and works well for the challenge. The stark colors are a great touch as well! I can't quite put my finger on it, but something keeps me, the viewer, from really connecting with this image though. Very well done though! 8o)

The first thing I really like about this image is the dreamy glow surrounding the subject! Great choice of colors too! Overall, this is a very strong image that evokes an affective mood! I'm still deciding whether or not the green grass works for me and if there were a more interesting angle that could have been used, but I still give it a 8. Well done! 8o)

It certainly looks dead! It's amazing to see shots like these that one would never see with the naked eye. Doesn't quite evoke a powerful mood for me, but technically, this image is great! 7. 8o)

This is a strangely affective image! I wouldn't think a torn up old car could evoke as much emotive response as this does. You've done an excellent job with the image both compositionally and technically in my opinion! 8o)

Really creative! The lighting seems very precise and like it took a lot of forethought. This is well composed and well captured! Shadows and highlights are great! Rhythm worked well here to really emphasis the main subject, which is actually not there! One of my favorites so far! Well done! 8o)

Very cool! A lot like a movie poster! Breaking the 'fourth wall' between subject and viewer actually works well here. She has a very haunted look in her eye and the ominous scull floating behind is lit perfectly! Very well composed and captured image! 8o)

This is a very intriguing image, but I'm not totally sure what I'm supposed to be looking at. Interesting nonetheless. I see fur, it's some sort of animal. Technically it's very well done! I guess the subject is just sort of cryptic to me. 6.

This worked well! Excellent control of highlights and shadows! Technically this image is near perfect for me and compositionally I love it too! Tells a 'chilling' story... well, the end of it anyway... it's captivating and has impact. Heck, it even works well in color! Very well done! 8o)

This is a nice image. Maybe could have worked a little better for this particular challenge in black and white? Even though it's a cool picture, the mood doesn't grab me right away. I do like the grave stone right in the foreground though. Pretty good overall! 8o)
