I like the layering. I think you could have cropped off a little more on the bottom for my taste.

Nice graph. Two things I noticed:
No-one shoots at f11?
I would like to know more exact figures (just to know them). Your graph does add up to 100%, but the fugures are rounded off. The lines that show 1% are not the same length.

As for your question, you should buy the best glass you can afford, since you will use it on more than one camera in your lifetime(unless you are one of those who switches brands while selling off you glass, you will be rewarded with better images for little price on a cost of image basis. Fast glass is even sharper and has a better background "bokeh" when you stop it down.

I like the light and her expression.

I gotta know, is that makeup on her lip- or a tattoo?

I have been in that very spot and it does look weird without tourists. I did not have light as good as this, though.

You really should list more about your PP technique. it is very well done. I bet you could teach everyone a lot about this. Especially me. I took a softball pitcher a while back at 8fps and wanted to put the images together and never could get it just right.

Nothing wrong with the light, the pose or the model. Don't sell yourself short.

That's what you call a chick magnet. He looks like he is enjoying himself too.

Good capture. A bounce card would have imporved the light some. Can that flash bounce off of the ceiling there?

Nice MACH 1. At least it has the spoiler, wheels and the grill of one. A agree that the lines are aliased, probably because of resizing.
