I love this one and though it's not a colour I would have thought of, it works wonderfully :)

I've found that "surface blur" at low settings can give me better results with some kinds of noise than the special noiseware products.
It smooths out flat surfaces like the background without affecting detailed parts. It might work here? :)

I LOVE this! The horse is supposedly unreal in a real world, but in this the background looks pencil-sketched, leaving the horse as the real part in a made-up world.

I like the focus on this; the hair is obviously the main subject so we still see it first, but then are allowed to see the rest clearly.
