Quadrantby ubiqueComment: Observant eye! The disrupted parallel lines and harsh lighting add to my feeling of impending doom. The perspective makes me think it might be the snit of a vengeful deity. Or, perhaps the photographer merely dropped the lithograph. I want to tell the lady(man) to walk faster. Maybe even run...
Also, great technicals for 720 pixels - this would be an easy photo to screw up in processing. |

Portalsby lwkimagesComment: A fantastic illusion. Subtler than a Banksy (at least the ones I've seen), but with more substance. If the photographer is also the artist, then this must be cutout. If not, then this is still a great find, well seen and captured. I'll score this a 10, though I doubt if I'll vote on 20%, so my vote probably won't count. Anyway, I'm guessing you don't care much about scores. |

Life Unprettyby RKTComment: Sometimes a not-so-pretty picture has a way of making others pause and gain appreciation for what is important. Thanks. |

Novemberby tnunComment: I didn't get this far in voting but would have given this my highest mark for it's beauty and symbolism. I want to see the rest of this calendar. |

Down in Dogpatch by jdannelsComment: Congratulations, Joe. A surreal, minimalistic beauty, something difficult to convey at the 640 px size limit. |

Ice-breakerby IreneMComment: Congratulations on the Yellow, Irene! It's great to see the same patience you use in your kitchen creations pay off outdoors. I especially like how the slightly tilted horizon and the leaning tree transforms this swan's figurative "uphill battle" into a literal one.

Octoberby posthumousComment: Gravity gets us all eventually...
The processing/color choices makes me think this might be Skew's. I particularly love the eyes and the artist's sig at the bottom right.
Exceptional. |
