- - - -by krnodilComment: Is this one ancestor superimposed over another? If so, it is so well done I really can't tell. Was the underlaying photo originally beardless? What did you use for the overlay? How do you expect people to steal your ideas without giving more details :)
Edit:
Thanks for the clarification, Karen. This is great, I'm sure somebody will copy your idea for submission into a future challenge. Message edited by author 2009-04-19 13:43:25. |

taxedby krnodilComment: That's really neat, you're getting fancy with the ZP! I wonder if this technique would be legal in a challenge? I know double exposures in the camera are no longer allowed, but, technically, isn't this a single exposure? I'm thinking of a technique to use for the "Not Quite Right" challenge and I could steal borrow this idea if it is legal.
I do see the mug. Not sure I would have if you hadn't mentioned it.

Panhandle Pinholeby bvyComment: You realize, of course, there isn't a digital photo that will match your Oatmeal box. But this is very good, and has a lot of resolution for a pinhole.
Now... get back in the darkroom. |

Deliveryby GermaineComment: I think the camera movement adds a great deal of interest to this. Muting the unimportant details (like the writing on the truck) and adding motion to the boxes and delivery guy are two interesting side effects of the camera movement. This reminds me of time-lapse photography. |

pillowyby krnodilComment: If you add shadows to a smooth object is it still a smooth object? At what point/scale does a smooth object with shading acquire "texture" and does it change with blurred vision?
This photo is asking for the viewer's definition of "texture" and shouldn't be dismissed so easily. Great job.
