Same Idea / Different Approachby gocComment: interesting and subtle idea. at first i thought 'no dichotomy here', but after looking and thinking some more - oooo, well done. my only quibble is with the colours in the sky - they're very 'curves' saturated (if you put the curves layer on luminosity, it takes the colours back to normal). i hope everyone takes the time to look at this closely. |

Left Behindby kashiComment: wow, lea. i really like this one. a perfectly ambiguous title lets us wonder which is left. the composition sets up some great visual tension. i like the colour, but think it might look even better in black and white. |

smyk the pearl diver(150k).jpgby smykComment: at first glance a very well done piece, but with further examination: i agree with the eyewave's and your own crits, and would also say that the bubbles are a little too regular. they are sort of in patterns, and just look - well, odd. but, hey, it looks pretty damn good - light years ahead of what i could do! |

Pesky Crittersby jaysonmcComment: fantastinc, jayson. i really like this. it's dark and brooding, very 50s b-movie. the grain really helps here. well done! |

Robotby GinaRothfelsComment: a wonderful image. i gave it an 8. i knew it would be sorely unappreciated. i ilke not only the image, and the construction of it, but also the fact that you had the guts to submit an image so wonderfully, deceptively, simple to an expert editing challenge. well done indeed! |
