Torby james_soComment: The horizon is almost (not quite) bang in the middle of the image. This is a difficult composition to pull off, it breaks the rule of thirds. It is possible to break the rule, but the image has to be very strong in order to do that. This image is not strong enough to attempt this. Try and find a stream, a rock a tree stump, a big clump of heather to provide you with a foreground, then move the horizon upto 2/3. This landscape deserves it, its beautiful |

Whispersby AtlantisComment: Not keen on the post processing at all. I'm sure some will love it. |

Makaleha Fallsby psartComment: See the tutorial about resizing for DPC
The challenge was to take a landscape in portrait (vertical) orientation. This image doesn't meet the criteria. |

Fading Daylightby morg002Comment: Terrific, that road is just a wonderful lead in. Maybe the sky could have been a little more powerful, but then you have to take whats on offer. This would be in my book of favourite locations and deserves a few more visits to capture the very best this location has to offer. |

Ocean Gateby lawlessComment: Now I don't think many voters will stop to look at this. It doesn't hit the viewer in the face, but I think its wonderfully subtle. The colours in the foreground are beautiful, maybe the midground and the water lets it down slightly. There is definitely some potential in this location, maybe one to go back a few times until conditions are better. |

Portsdown Hillby MartinKempComment: Nice try to keep that bland white sky out of the image. The light just isn't working for you though. This is the sort of image I would take as a riminder to go back and shoot when conditions are good. There is potential here, but on another day. |

A Day at the Lakeby dallasduxComment: I think you just over-exposed this a little. The colours feels washed out and there appears to be a slight haze over the image. Maybe rectify this with a nudge of the contrast slider. |

Enter...by DeniseBernadetteComment: Feels like there is a yellow tint to this, maybe the white balance was incorrectly set |

North Fallsby ArtifactsComment: Very nice, I wonder if it would be stronger just zoomed in a little more |
