With something like this, symmetricalness is key, and the unbalance of left and right is really distracting. But I do like the cutout look and I just love the eye color. The dog really does look like it could be thinking anything, too!

I think the caption explains why the photo is happening, rather than explaining the photo (which I think is more Larson's style?) I really like the shot itself - good tones and contrast.

I wish maybe there had been text bubbles in some of the white space - may have been more effective that way (and I am pretty sure the rules would permit that). But nevertheless, this is a pretty impactful shot!
