Nobody told me ... I was soldby names_amitComment: Haunting title. I don't care as much for the lighting - I like the shadows but I wish the subject was lighter overall. However I really do think this is a great photo. |

Will you buy this?by manishComment: I just love how the lighting emphasizes the items and not the person. Sort of the opposite of how you want most shots I guess but it REALLY works for this challenge. |

Are there veggies in that camera?by perotyComment: There's my pigger! Well definitely you're gonna suffer for the focus thing.. I just love how he looks like he's reaching into the camera but I do not think the voters will like it as much as I do. Maybe would have liked a tiny bit more background shown? Lighting is pretty good I think. *chinrub the piggy!* |

The Strange Musical Life of the Honey Moonby posthumousComment: Well, I have to say I kind of wavered back and forth about the score throughout the week. I liked the image; there was never any question about that. Noise... geez, what's wrong with grain like this in an abstract? Beautiful colors, a strong visual subject in the lower left so that the eye does not wander, the image in the background of power lines but are we certain that's what they are.. all combine to create a beautiful piece of art. I just did not know if it related to the challenge for me. In the end though, I felt that it did. This may not be what you were going for, but it was my take on it: The yellow/orange light is the individual (or the two married who are now one flesh) - reaching out and holding strong against the colder, harsher outside world. That definitely relates to the challenge for me, and in the end, I gave it a score that I really would have loved more than three people to give as well. |
