For my preferences I think you lost a bit too much detail in your blacks. I do like high key images, but shifting somethgn high key doesnt mean you have to lose all of your detail in the shadows.

Not quite sure how I missed the edited version compared to the one I posted in the thread but this is one is better. Very cool capture. Nice and sharp, good color tones and a priceless pose. COuldnt have asked for anything better.

I liek the lighting on this. Reminds me of dwterrys work. The hair by her mouth is a bit distracting but I am guessing it was a bit windy. If you get a chance please post the camera details - aperture, shutter speed, etc. Once it gets a bit warmer out here I want to get out and try some of these shots.

Thanks for sending me the PM. It can be a while before I check out my fave folder to see who entered what I faved. I do like this shot, and I so respect the guts to enter an image like this. I just found this to be a very pleasing image. Surely not in the DPC mold, but that makes it all the better. The watercolor version is no where near as nice as this one IMO. The only thing I would chang ein this shot is the brown border. Just isnt necessary. I expected this not to score well but the 5.1 is a bit harsh IMO. My 8 helped out a little bit though. Good luck in future challenges!

This is my fave of the three you posted. Works great as a B&W. The highlights in her hair are very nice. Great detail, love the light, her teeth may be a bit blown but that is just a minor nitpick for me. This just has a very nice feel to me.

Havent voted yet but from a quick thunbnail preview of the entries this one stands out for me. Love the colors, textures and lines.And te shadow works for me too. I think this meets the challenge perfectly - whatever that means. I will be back later to give a proper vote. GL with this one.

Back again to start off my voting. I am not starting with the first one that came up in the queue but I am starting with this one. From the thumbnail view of the challenge I feel this meets it great. You get a starting 9 and a bonus to boot.
