Nautilus Descentby MaverickComment: Very visually appealing, with the rich colors and textures. Indeed the light makes this picture. And of course, the Nautilus composition is excellent too. |

Cricket at Sunsetby elsapoComment: Oh wow. This is almost too good to be true!! Even without seeing many of the other entries, I can wish this a ribbon. Lovely colors, and excellent sharpness. An eye-catcher of a shot. 10. |

Blue on blueby H R VerryComment: Surprisingly effective for such a simple shot. I think it's the colors I like. |

What the .... ?by Tom_RobbrechtComment: Very nice idea. You've done a really neat job with the fruits, and the lighting on the plate is very well done too. However I think that leaving the table in has spoilt the potential of this shot; a tighter crop restricted to the plate or using a plain white background would turn this into a really neat shot. |

Bleeding Heartby jin_tonicComment: One of the loveliest pictures I have seen in this challenge. Very beautiful abstract. Not sure about the border. But that doesn't take away from the fact that you created art out of an apple. |

Reflectingby rexComment: A very nice example of the inversion idea. I think it works so well because of the extreme clarity in the reflections, and also the waterdrop/icicle like shape of the pawns... very nice! One thing I think might help this image is the changing the color balance to remove the excess yellow or just convert to b/w.. |

Sittin on a dock in the bayby cwyouComment: Very sharp, and lovely reflection. Not sure about the extreme and symmetric negative space though. Maybe could have been in proportion to the reflection (ie, crop from top). |
