Test of Timeby perotyComment: There are not many cars one would recognise by showing that little of it. A big success indeed, pointed out by your clever composition. 10 |

12 Bar Blues with Harmonicaby pineappleComment: IMHO, it would look much better if the sky bits were cropped. Here the sky attracts the eye away from the picture. The window cleaner's lift is enough to disrupt the pattern and make it interesting. Also it should not be in the middle of the vertical. |

Palace of Fine Artsby floydroweComment: It looks a bit flat. Early morning/late afternoon side light would have done miracles on these vertical textures. Nice shot anyway. |

Old Oak Tree at Dawnby getnoutsideComment: Not sharp enough (look at the upper right branches). I myself hate, when I get this comment. But for a tree silhouette, I really think it is important. |

Antique Truckby BluebearComment: Nice subject. Regrettably, the lighting looks quite flat. I think the picture would be far better if it was taken in the early morning or late afternoon with side-light. If this was not possible, I would have increased the highlights and shadows in post-processing. And also zoomed in a bit, the sky is not very interesting here... Just my 2 cents |

Still a Fire Withinby ArtysteComment: It is oversharpened, IMHO. The wrinkles would probably look more natural if a bit harder side lighting had been used. |
