The pose on this is great, nice and natural.. I totally agree with jenesis about the crop to me it seems a little tilted to the left and I think this could easily be fixed by leaving a little more room on the bottom.

Very sweet portrait...I would also like to see this cropped a little tighter, I think it would add alot and give that sense of closeness between mother and son..(hope that makes sense)..

I think the lighting is good....My first initial thought is that the gun and the hands need to be a more in focus.. Im not sure what else to really say...Its not a bad photo at all..Keep it up!
