I love the ocean outside my back window, but this makes me think about trading it in. Nice crisp photo. Like the sharpness of the window frame in re: to the soft flow ocurring outside.

Damned sweet!!! "10" The various shades of white, eggshell, antiqueness vs. the newness, the blending and fades thruout.....This has got to be a ribbon winner!! I'd kill to shoot something like this!! I'd frame it and put it in my house today....even tho I don't know her!!! Excellent job!!! Did I say "10" already?? I'd give it an "11" if it were available. Maybe I should contact the SC. :O)

I really like the old window, the chipped "it's-been-painted-23-times" look, the crop and shape of it, but the kids cut-out being white, takes away from that rustic feel I got when I first came upon it.

I'm a knockover for old country, middle-of-nowhere concept photo's and this one pulled me in. Love the one window effect, the old abondoned structure in the background. The contrast of the greenery with the rust, mixed in with the blues of the sky really pull together to form a nice view for me.It might be just a little over-saturated, but that is just IMHO. 8

Good idea here, but it took me too long to find him. The brightness of the greenery mixed with the darkness of the stone and shadows are too overwhelming to really take notice to the main subject for me.

Just got back from Fla. the day this challenge was due, and all I thought about was the 3 old window frames like this one that I had sitting in my gararge. Didn't have time to make it happen, but glad someone did...and did a damned good job of it at that! One of my fav's!! Great job!! "10" from me.

Really like this shot. I would have loved to see a little bump in saturation on the grasses surrounding your subject, that to me, would separate the desat of the foreground. Love the window shooting from and the total concept overall. 7

Like the crop, the title and the black and white concept, however, the blownout background is a bit too distracting for me. The cut out wood, writing on the wall are important in this shot, yet, I'm too drawn away from those points.
