Handy Transportationby kposeyComment: Very nice colors. The subject is a nice twist on the challenge, but the image itself seems a little over sharpened. Nice work. |

"Same Day Air"by casualguyComment: Nice ride = ) The use of stars is definitely a plus, but seems limited. The lighting here is really nice too, looks similar to how they did it in the movie. Good luck in the challenge (aka, may the force be with you).... ok, it's cliche but i had to say it = P -8- |

To the Rescueby rogerspaulComment: This reminds me of the other photo with an emergency vehicle in it (I think both are very well done = ) Nice job of freezing the fire engine |

A true Rocky Mountain High.by vtruanComment: I'd like to see more detail on the balloon. I understand that the underexposure is necessary to keep the sky from being all white, but I wonder how that would look, with the sky overexposed. I think it might give more emphasis to your subject. Nice job with a tough shot. |

Rental Bikesby friscaComment: I like the subject(s), but I think a shot of one of them alone would be more powerful, or, if possible, repositioning them so the lowest wheel (without the white trim) would be out of the shot. Might be oversharpened too. -6- Mav |

Flying over the archesby pitsamanComment: Interesting composition, but it lacks a definitive subject. I'm not sure I understand why the rainbow effect is there - it detracts from the jet trails, which are the basis for the transportation theme. If its lens flare, I would have tried a different angle to focus on just the jet trails. I like the positioning of the arches though. They make a good connection relating the sky to the earth. - Mav |

LAZY DAY OFFby howzaComment: Very nice use of soft focus. This is obivously intentionally done, but the oversaturation takes away from this in my opinion. |
