I like this shot, but would suggest a little more grain, or editing the blacks (such as the shirt and the text on the wall) to be a little darker - they appear gray on the monitor I am using, I will recheck this. Other than that, I like the subject and composition. The highlights aren't bad, but maybe in a little more moderation (maybe less on the sidewalk, while leaving the elements on the person overexposed). Overall a nice job.

Deep Pink Clouds

In this shot, I am drawn more to the sunset in the back of the shot. That said, there are several elements that attract attention and lend themselves to be slight distractions - the stoplight, imho is unnecessary, but I like the curver and perspective lines created by the street. I guess I'm not sure what I would change with this shot. The pink clouds are attractive, possibly a closer crop on that would work.

Dan's Puppet Commancheros

The text positioning adds strength to the composition, but the exposure is a little off for my tastes. As there appears to be a spotlight on the puppets, I would have spot metered on that, making the rest of the stage darker (this might not have been possible - this looks like a tough setting to get a good shot from). This would have at least fixed the highlight clipping observable on the chair and table. The title and idea, however, are clever and fit the challenge well.

Very nice macro shot. He certainly does look dedicated. A stretch on the band name (just not something I would expect to see), but I'm not wild about the DPC title restrictions to begin with = P

Dreaming Psycho Cult

I'm not sure if this is from the monitor I'm using (at a library...), but there seems to be a lack of contrast in this shot, as though it was lightened to show the person. If this is the case, then the exposure isn't long enough imho. If this was taken with the person lying within the light of the street lamp that is directly behind him, I think it would be vastly improved. I'm also confused as to what the object behind his head is and how it contributes to the photo. Overall, I like the idea, but see room for improvement in the execution.

Not quite contrasty enough for an album cover (imho). However, I like the colors of the clouds, and catching that rainbow - very well done. I think that something could be done to the water to give it more "pop", but I'm not sure what..

The darkness of the image is ok, but I think boosting the brightness of the eyes might really give a nice, eerie look to this.

I don't mind the shallow depth of field, but imho am not sure it works well with the high contrast objects (the jack at the bottom and the bridge on the left). A different crop might solve this.
