Magical Morning Mist by jemisonComment: That's a lot of balloons. The mist works well here, along with the sheer number of balloons. Nice work. |

Clambake!by Bear_MusicComment: I really like the atmosphere created here - the red lobsters really add color and are softened nicely by the steam. The wide angle distortion is a little much for my taste but its still a nice candid shot. |

Sweet Freedomby idnicComment: Is this the dog from the greeting card challenge? = ) I'm a fan of Dachshounds (even though I can't spell them..) Another nice shot, though a little high in contrast imho. |

Woohoo! It's Raining!!!by dwterryComment: Odd cause for celebration, but great capture of it nonetheless. I really like the contrasts that the black and white umbrella offer with the colorful yellows and greens in the rest of the image. Nice work. |

Shock of the Newby ImagineerComment: Great candid shot, can't really offer any criticism other than it looks to me like the baby's face might be a little out of focus in the full size shot. Still, capturing the moment is often more important than the technical details, and definitely holds true here. 10 |

Celebrating a place to worship.by drz01Comment: Nice idea and execution - the sky really makes for a good background. Only suggestion is to not crop off the cross at the top. It restricts the steeple imho - I think it'd be more powerful with some space above allowing it to "reach" into the sky. Exposure and focus is right on. |

...Happy Anniversary Keturahby saloonstudiosComment: Without knowing the history behind this image (and there is definitely a strong connotation of one), this imparts more of a feeling of sorrow than celebration. The debris in the foreground, the down-turned face and the wine glass all seem to point in this direction. To the photographer I'm sure this is not the case, but to a casual observer, it's tough to tell. Aside from that, the image is very well done. I like the silhouette as well as the textures and lighting in the foreground. The light tones in the background add to the rustic look of the shot. Great photo, but difficult to relate to the challenge imho. |

This is a shot I took at disney of my daughter and her grandparents!by moonjeongComment: Family and good times are certainly valid reasons for celebration. However, there are a lot of problems with this shot imho. The background is quite busy. I really think this should have been shot from the front of the people, adding their faces and thus providing of a personal element imho. The lady at the side looks removed from the group -- its difficult to tell if she is meant to be in the shot or another tourist. Don't give up, keep trying and you will see improvement. |

Celebrate Friendsby Sherri1209Comment: Like the soft focus here and the sepia tones. Good capture of emotion -- relates well to your title. |
