Pairs of sortsby mitalapoComment: I have always enjoyed your images of people. I often recognize them in a challenge because there is something so genuine about them. It is a treat to see a whole group of them together. |

_DSF3687_colourby daisydavidComment: This is fun to look through and imagine what is really going on. It would be interesting to know what story the different viewers would attach to the images. The last two burry shots are beautiful and I love the deer head. |

It ain't me, babeby ubiqueComment: If this is feeble as you suggested on an earlier post I don̢۪t want to see anything more. I couldn̢۪t take it. Every image hits me with a powerful feeling and the images just keep coming. I don̢۪t even know why some images do this. Technically I think maybe it is the light and shadows being in the right place but of course it is much more than that. I really do puzzle over this question: Why do some photographs touch us so deeply? The answer seems to float around in an area that is too unconscious to put my finger on. I̢۪m grateful to you for making me ponder this question. |

s00by mariucaComment: You have really done it this time. You have so cleverly chosen the perfect photographs for this wonderful and funny essay. There are a number of photographs that seem almost too good to be true but yet too genuine not to be. Marvelous. |

Where the Water Runs Slowby instepsComment: Your black and white photography is wonderful as always. I love how you highlight the small things: wires, furrows, ripples, bricks and boards. Details in life that I can walk by without seeing are made so beautiful. My favorite is the dog and hands but it belongs with the others. Mariuca̢۪s comment says what I wish I could have said.
Every time my LensScratch email arrives I wonder when I will open it and see one of your essays. Message edited by author 2017-11-12 14:57:52. |
