Well, technically they aren't yet "beat" because he's yet to touch the plate. They are about to be beat, but with two inches to go anything could happen. He could lift his foot, miss the plate, pitcher or catcher could recover ball and tag him out. But I doubt the umpires at this level would catch that. So the win is imminent. But I digress.
