Old faithfuls road to salvationby hutch699Comment: I like the abundance of black space here, but I feel like the bottom of the Cross is too close to the lower border of the image. Regardless, nice work. |

The slow road homeby arpitaComment: I like how the background appears to be one big motion blur - it manages to isolate the subject in a manner true to the title: that is, amidst the torrent of yellows and greens in the background, the sharply-focused snail implies a deliberate, plodding pace. I have a feeling this will be marginalized due to its open interpretation of the challenge, but I like it. Good job. |

A roadby ursulaComment: You know I was about to comment on how the angle of this photo was too extreme until I realized why you did it... Very clever, but I have a feeling a lot of people will miss that big "A" which stands out so clearly once you know where to look. Possibly would stand out more if the image was mirrored? -8- |

"Hit The Road Jack..."by edmengComment: I want this to win the challenge. It is simple and brilliant, and whether intended or not, the heavy amount of noise adds a texture appropriate to the theme. |

...Straight To The Moon Alice!by yakatmeComment: I had such an enormous urge to do a photo like this and drove around at 1 am one morning looking for roads that promised ideal moonsets. Didn't find anything that worked in my neck of the heavily-wooded state of CT, but here's proof that the concept works. Nice execution. |

Mr. Rode's Final Roadby ltaylorComment: I presume the grave marker on the far left reads "Rode", but it's a bit hard to tell here. A different angle would've been better, maybe if you had taken the photo from the other side of the road further back and turned to face the cemetary slightly. Still nice though. |
