Beautifully done, I love the slight color cast to it... definitely gives you a different feeling then if her eyes were pure white. I also like the different approach, very pretty... good luck.

I like what you were trying to do here... make it a very sophisticated shot, but there are a couple of things that I would suggest you go back, and maybe try and shoot again and improve if possible. 1) It looks to me like there is too much light concentrated on her left wrist and the armchairmy eye immediately goes to that spot because of how bright it is. 2) The position of her head seems somewhat off to me, I don't think it looks natural or comfortable, and 3) I feel there is too much extra space on the left side of the picture (to her right). I also think there are too many patterns and too much to look at here... a portrait should focus on her face (classically) and then from there you should find the other things. Nice job with a slightly softer look.

This is absolutely beautifully done... Congrats on the ribbon... I haven't voted anytime recently... but this photo made me sit up and say wow. VERY well done. Your tonal ranges for black and white are awesome, and I love the balance of the photo, as well as the use of blank space. Great interpretation of the challenge, a very sexy photo overall, could easily be an ad for something, perhaps jeans? I also like your use of lighting, someone thought it was harsh shadows, but I think it gives an edge to this photo, which is not meant to be soft, edgy and sexy. I love it... great job!

I like this a lot... very cool... nice job with the exposure, and not getting just pure sillouhettes. I might suggest maybe cropping a tad bit tighter... to right below the gloves and some on the right... but it's not a big deal... I think some of your tools need to be used a little more ;-)

This doesn't quite look in focus to me... I think, that tools are supposed to be strong, hard things, so they should be pretty sharp. I can't quite tell whether this looks like it was a question of compression or something else. Also the lights glaring off of the clock are really quite bothersome. I don't care for the white border just on the two sides, I feel it detracts from the subject. I do like the repetition and the similar tools getting larger.

I guess I'm curious about whether this is really a shadow? if it is... great job.. it almost looks like a sillouhette however that you darkened, if it is a shadow I'd be interested in seeing the lighting procedure here...

A mixture of humor and art all in one. Good job of putting this together within the challenge a very creative way to do this! Very nice job with the lighting here for the shadow... I hope we'll get to find out what the lighting is. Nicely done -10-

This is absolutely awesome! I'm not sure how you did it.. but it's great, I love the interplay of the shadow with the people, and I love the dreamy feel to it... even the composition is intriguing and that extra shadow, which I'm guessin is yours that falls across the wall or whatever you are looking out of. I do hope we will get an explanation! -10-

Is this a shadow or the sillouhette of a person? It almost seems to be the sillouhette of someone with a bright light coming from behind it. I can't be sure, but if it was, this would put it off challenge.
