Knowledge Is Freedomby dtallaksonComment: Interesting shot and the expression on his face is priceless. Without the title, the connection with freedom is not too explicit, but that's not necessarily a showstopper in my book :) |

Freedom for the condemned by GilesComment: The prisoner is free, and the dismayed noose is left staring empty and useless at us. Or instead, final liberation in dead.
I am guessing it's probably the first.
Very effective lighting and detail on your rope and missing main protagonist, or lack thereof :)
An excellent idea. |

A leap of freedom by NeatComment: Wonderul capture and perfectly framed.
The ball makes for an essential visual counterpoint to the diver, who's presumably about to curl and close into a ball as well. A future symmetry which gives dynamism and it's also mirrored in the two identical ladders.
Or perhaps I am just crazy :)
But I love it, wonderful capture. |

Debt Ridby BenstedComment: I think many people would certainly see this as a very good example of freedom. Good concept. |

Freedom of Speechby MinsoPhotoComment: Agreed, conquering freedom of speech can be a pretty painful move :D
As a fellow bearded man, I feel your pain.
I am very incompetent at studio lighting, but it looks like it was pretty tough to balance things so to protect detail everywhere. Great job with the jacket and silver tape, but the skin seem to have suffered a bit in the process (unless the harshness/posterization was intentional. The rim light on the hair works well but it also look like it was abruptely cut at the bottom.
You have some pretty good drammatic light setups in your portfolio, I wonder how this pose would have worked with one of them.
But I like it, good job! |

someone saved my life tonightby posthumousComment: Altar bound, hypnotized, sweet freedom whispered in my ears..
Not sure if the image in itself conveys the sense of narrow escape which clears the mind and gives a sense of newly found freedom.
But the title and image work very well in depicting the concept, and I like the concept a lot. Good job.

to chooseby flahermaComment: Given the price of the items on display, I am unsure whether this portraits the freedom or lack thereof :) |

in my mindby jmritzComment: This image has a very definite mood, I like it a lot and had me, perhaps mistakenly, laugh out loud :) |
