Dirty boyby ShutterPugComment: Great use of shallow dof. Soup looks less than happy about having his picture taken, but then again, do turtles ever look happy? Nice job! |

Thorny Way - Day 5by sherpetComment: Amazing how many colors are in this shot! These do look more like soft whiskers than hard thorns, and I don't know that I would have guessed that this came from a cactus! Great job! |

Lifeby SDWComment: Aww, adorable! I never would have guessed they were so small from this shot. Amazing that you got this close and got such a clear shot with a new momma hovering around her kitten! Looking forward to more shots of the new kittens through the rest of the month! :) |

Wrench Works Parking Ramp at Sunset :Pby JMartComment: I never would have thought that the "round" shape would be made of several small flatter parts. Interesting! I wonder how this would work if you'd taken it from more of an angle, showing the shapes of the teeth-like edges. Maybe it would help cut down on the harsh lighting? |

Puppy Macro???? - Day 4by slaaksoComment: Love the patterns in the sand too.. and the little pawprints. What a cutie! When he finally falls asleep, would be a great chance for a cute close up of some puppy paws or a nose? |

the nose knowsby ShutterPugComment: I love kitty macros! Great capture of the nose and fur textures, and your kitty has nice coloring and markings around her nose. |

Mar 04.jpgby Mr_PantsComment: Great focus, and I like the cool blue hues here. The slight hint of a shadow helps to give a little depth. I'm not sure that I feel it needs quite so much vignetting, especially at the bottom. It feels like the darkness creeps in closer on the bottom right than the other corners, but I'm on a laptop and can't see the entire shot at once on my small screen. |

macro1.jpgby MAKComment: Great textures, and I like how you included this missing section. I wonder how this would look a bit more tilted to the lines went more diagonally across the frame? Glad to see you on board, even if a few days late! |

Macro Day 3: Bubbling Upby socalsteveComment: I have no idea what this is, but it's neat! Great variety of shapes and textures, and the color is neat too. Almost an optical illusion since I'm having a hard time with the depth perception of this one. Interesting! |

Day 3 : Revolutionby ShaneBlakeComment: Looking at the thumbnail, I thought that just the corner was going to be in focus, but I like how you have the tips in focus through the shot. I wonder if angling the flower differently would have given even more depth to these little sections? Nicely done. |
