Frolicby hahn23Comment: Interesting example of how using warm colors can still have a cold feel. Love the stopped motion and the alert eyes... this one just makes me smile :) |

Happiness is a Warm Friendby elizadebComment: Adorable!! Good choice to put him on a yellow blanket to help boost that warm feel for this challenge. Lighting is a bit harsh, probably from the onboard flash. Perhaps just holding a piece of paper in front of the flash would help diffuse it a little? |

Longing to be warmby cogeroxComment: This is lovely! The more I look at it, the more things I find interesting. The fish is perfectly placed, looking out of his bowl longingly, the colors in the cloth are all warm and fit the challenge perfectly, and the contrast in texture between the smooth bowl and the cloth is great too. Great job! |

Stacked Red Silica Beadsby pffreeComment: Love the warm colors, and the stacking makes for a lovely gradient. Lots of abstract shapes and bits of darker colors here from the overlap. A wonderful and unique idea... well done! |

Connectionby SherwinJamesComment: Great dof here, and love the textures of the metal. The rust is the perfect color for this challenge! Very nicely done! :) |

Labyrinthby marcusvdtComment: Great flower with lots of interesting textures and lines. I would have liked a tighter crop, to really see all of that a little closer up, and it also would have really focused in on the warm red color. |

gazania gloryby suemackComment: Love the shallow dof here, and the orange colors of the flowers. The leaves have a bit of a bluish tint to them, and I wonder if adjusting the white balance in camera or doing a slight hue adjustment would have given this shot an even warm overall feel. |

DPChallenge Voting: "8, 10, 6, 2, 7"by bobnospumComment: This shot is clearly enhanced by the title... I had to go back and compare to see what you'd chosen for each. I'm not sure about the background choice, and wish the lighting wasn't quite as harsh on the little smiley heads. Overall though, definitely meets the challenge, and it gave me a chuckle! :) |

The Rising Sunby danielcheong1974Comment: Great warm colors here both in the flower and the background. Love the gradient of color on the petals too. Wish this was just a tad sharper, even if only in one spot with a shallow dof. |
