Blue Without Youby avalanche1030Comment: Glass stones/marbles? Focus feels a bit soft. I wonder what moving the light source around would do to the reflections with this shot? |

Moonlit Mountainsby hazeComment: Interesting to create a 'scene' for the viewer with different components. I'm going to guess the mountains are just a key (I like that it's slightly tilted so you see the top of the key to give some depth), but I have no idea what the moon is. |

The Alien hatcheryby fmalanComment: Cheese grater with colored paper behind it? Nice use of complimentary colors. I'm wondering if trying to play with the reflections might have changed the feel of this even more. |

Stalactites from hell?by JakerComment: Toothpicks? Nice range of b/w tones, but there are almost too many extremes here for me in both sharpness and exposure. Seems to go from over sharpened to ultra smooth, and from pitch black to blown out highlights. Then again, those features go nicely with the title. |

Mystery Macroby smudgeSMJComment: Tassels from a curtain, throw, pillow etc? Nice b/w tones, not sure about the flow of where the tassels through the shot. |

Chelsea1.jpgby noranekoComment: Interesting image. The cross does add something unique here. I also like the way the window repeats the shape of the cross. |

Mr. Elephant Beetleby sherpetComment: Wow... what a great shot! So much detail to look at! I love the idea of using the scrapbooking squares behind the shot for the color... I think the consistency in color really helps here for the shot as a whole. |

Still Snarkyby Art RoflmaoComment: Hey, it's Snarky! I think I like this one better than his first appearance. He seems to have accomplished such a great task by climbing to the top of the mushroom! The lines from the mushrooms are cool too. The one thing that I find odd is the coloring... it's almost like it was taken in the office under the fluorescent lighting or something? |

Snarkyby Art RoflmaoComment: What a great shot... he's not the prettiest little guy, but I love the details and lines. I think the color scheme works nicely too. Only change I would make would be to get rid of those little dirt specks at the bottom. Snarky did a nice job posing for you, it was nice of you to let him go when you were done. |

macro_8465.jpgby HeiSchComment: I like this one. I have no idea what it is, but I like it anyway! Macro, but it has the illusion of being much bigger. Interesting lighting too the way it hits the sides differently showing off the textures and the outline of the mystery object. The left edge of the object looks a little jagged, probably just from resizing. Nice! |
